Looking to enhance creativity into your mathematics classroom? The Math file game show, http://www.bbc.co.uk/education/mathsfile/index.shtml, is designed to do just that with the ancient mathematical hosts Hypatia and Pythagoras. The site is provided by BBC education and it includes on-line games as well as games available in printouts. The online games are offered in 3 levels of difficulty and include the following categories: numbers, data handling, algebra as well as shape, space and measure. The printouts include games and exercises such as cross number, snap charts, writing checks, budgeting and spending, and sorting books based on the Dewey Decimal System.

Five games from the NASA website that relate to cognitive psychology. The games focus on recognition and memory, and each games has accompanying text that walks you through what your brain is doing and why. The games are fun and interesting but unfortunately I used an hour of my valuable homework time playing them.

I was familiar with a few a these, but they were all very interesting. This is collection of five classic case studies in social psychology often with surprising results. It would be nice to live in a world where everyone had read all five of these.

At the site http://psychology.wikia.com/wiki/Psychology_Wiki:About they have a great idea. they want to create an interactive website for students and teachers to access information about psychology. When i was reading through it i noticed that many doctors have added information concerning issues. I think this is a great idea it allows people to share different information and experiences. Also it is great for teachers because they can get answers to questions they may have from oterh teachers or professionals.

The web site http://burow5a01.wikispaces.com/Wikis+and+Teachers is great website that shows future teacher, or current teachers how to use a wiki webpage for their classes. This wiki webpage talks about how to introduce it into your classes, how to get started, what obstacles you can expect, and the bad side to the wiki webpage. This wiki site also gives great links to other pages that can help creating a wiki, it also has a link for Differentiating Instruction for Gifted and Talented Students, we all are looking for way to teach something different to our students whether they are gifted or not. I think the additional information on DI for gifted and talent students would be a help to most teacher and schools, because these are students who do not get the chance to achieve their full potential.
