Looking to enhance creativity into your mathematics classroom? The Math file game show, http://www.bbc.co.uk/education/mathsfile/index.shtml, is designed to do just that with the ancient mathematical hosts Hypatia and Pythagoras. The site is provided by BBC education and it includes on-line games as well as games available in printouts. The online games are offered in 3 levels of difficulty and include the following categories: numbers, data handling, algebra as well as shape, space and measure. The printouts include games and exercises such as cross number, snap charts, writing checks, budgeting and spending, and sorting books based on the Dewey Decimal System.
